was the most socially important book released by Steve Biddulph.
It has been quoted in Australian parliament, as well as in
a presentation to MPs in the British House of Commons. Beginning
with the confronting words 'Most men don't have a life' it
begins to unfold the 'seven steps to manhood' which tens of
thousands of men have now taken and therapists worldwide have
reported to have brought about significant change.
Fixing it with your father. Being a real equal to women.
Finding a job with heart. Experiencing joyful sex. Being a
real dad to your kids. Friendship. Trusting your wildness.
Over 600 mens groups have used the book as a starting point,
it has affected the nature of therapy, lead to widespread
enquiries into mens services and mens health policy, and broken
the ideological log-jam that feminism had inadvertently created
for social justice movements - reminding us that we are all
human, and co-responsible for the patterns we create.
In the US, published as The Secret Life of Men
